Karen is an Advanced Practice Nurse who is capable of providing quality
health care in the office as well as the hospital. She functions in a supportive
role to both Dr.'s Amine and Mandviwala. Her educational preparation
allows her to diagnose and treat illnesses.

Karen received her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Nursing from the
University of Texas. Her extensive experience includes eleven years as a
critical care nurse at Memorial Hermann Hospital and over two years as a
Cardiology Nurse Practitioner before joining our practice.

Patients are invited to schedule appointments for routine office visits with
Karen. Occasionally, patients may be asked to see Karen for their office visit
instead of their regular doctor. You will be offered to see Karen instead of
rescheduling your appointment, when your Doctor may be in an emergent
situation at the hospital. It will be your choice to see Karen or reschedule.
