Cardiac Ultrasonography
(echocardiography) is a valuable non-invasive tool for imaging the heart and
surrounding structures. Echocardiography is used to evaluate cardiac
(heart) chamber size, wall thickness, wall motion, valve configuration and
motion, and proximal great vessels.
