48 Hour Holter Monitoring
 
The patient is prepped by cleaning
the skin on the chest with rubbing alcohol. After the patient is prepped, we
place 7 leads on the patients chest. This monitor will record the
heart beat continuously for 48 hours. The monitor will record any
irregular beats. The monitor is then returned to our office and scanned by a
computer. We then call the patient to give them the results.
